The Ukrainian Walnut Association has over 2,000 members, all of whom are professionals in their field. But there are some who are the most successful in Ukraine. This was stated by Gennady Yudin, vice-president of the Ukrainian Walnut Association, in an interview with propozitsiya.com.
Competent specialists are Dmytro Bondarenko from the eco-farm "Kovcheg" in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and Maksym Kalayda, director of the Walnut Breeding Center from Kherson.
They are very professionally engaged in low-growing nut crops. Leonid Zhidovets from Vinnytsia region, Oleg Konovalyuk in the "Gardens of Cherkasy", Anatoliy Zelenitsa from the Demeter enterprise in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Speaking about hazelnuts, the expert advised contacting the family farm "Batkiv Sad", headed by Igor Tsybenko.
Special thanks go to breeder Oleksandr Ponomarenko from Izmail.
Ivan Yukol from the "Efrem" farm in Vinnytsia region can be called an innovator and experimenter in the nut business.
“The goal of the Association is to gather as many such professional practitioners as possible and, using their successful examples, give advice to future and novice gardeners,” says G. Yudin.
